Purpose: Capture and showcase the operational excellence of DII members across the full asset lifecycle — deploying new digital infrastructure and retrofitting, upgrading, and re-powering and decommissioning of existing sites at scale. Highlighting to international investors that Ireland is delivery-proven, and DII partners are delivery-proven throughout the world for all stages of the digital infrastructure lifecycle.

Working Committee Scope
End-to-end deployment lifecycle: site selection, planning, design, construction, commissioning, hand-over.
Retrofit and upgrade: re-powering, densification, cooling and efficiency upgrades, and extending the life of existing assets to meet new workload demands and ultimately decommissioning and recycling.
Operational disciplines: facilities management, uptime, maintenance, supply chain resilience, safety.
Cross-cutting infrastructure: fibre, connectivity, spectrum, data centers, power and grid interfaces.
Lessons learned and reusable playbooks that members can deploy in international markets.
Identification of operational risks (planning timelines, grid access, skills) and proposed responses.
