ABOUT THE ROLE
The role involves preparing electrical design drawings, plant selections, cabling routes and installation specifications throughout all stages of a project, from concept through to tender, construction and completion. It also includes developing project-specific BMS control panel drawings and descriptions of operation, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and quality standards, and attending design meetings as required.
The position requires close collaboration with contracts managers and commissioning teams to support the commissioning process and optimise BMS controls, alongside maintaining professional relationships with clients, suppliers, contractors and relevant authorities. Additional duties may be required as directed.
