New appointments reflect DII's growing role as the collective voice of Ireland's digital infrastructure ecosystem
15 June, 2026. Digital Infrastructure Ireland (DII), the leading industry group for the digital infrastructure and data centre sector in Ireland, has today announced the appointment of four new members to its Board as the organisation continues to strengthen its leadership and industry representation.
Rhonda Doyle, Country President and Managing Director of Schneider Electric Ireland, Peter Lantry, Managing Director of Equinix Ireland, Greg Hayden, CEO of Ethos Engineering, and Mark Flanagan, Executive Director, Kirby Group Engineering have all joined the DII Board.
The appointments come at a pivotal time for the organisation, following the recent announcement of Ronan Kelly as the incoming Chief Executive Officer, with Ronan set to formally take up the role in July. Together, these appointments mark an important milestone for DII’s ongoing development as it continues to expand its role as the collective voice of the digital infrastructure industry in Ireland.
The strengthened Board reflects DII’s commitment to building a more structured, delivery focused organisation capable of supporting the sector at a crucial time for Ireland’s digital economy.
Commenting on the appointments, Maurice Mortell, Chairperson of DII said: “We are delighted to welcome Rhonda, Peter, Greg and Mark to the Board of Digital Infrastructure Ireland. Each brings exceptional industry experience, leadership and expertise from across the digital infrastructure ecosystem, which strengthen DII as we continue to grow our organisation.”
“The sector is entering a critically important phase, with increasing recognition of the strategic role digital infrastructure plays in Ireland’s economy, competitiveness and future AI ambitions. Ireland has a renewed opportunity to maintain its position as a leading destination for digital investment, and DII is committed to ensuring the industry plays a central role in shaping that future.”
The new Board appointments further strengthen DII’s representation across the energy, engineering, construction, operations and digital infrastructure landscapes, bringing together expertise from organisations at the forefront of delivering critical infrastructure projects both in Ireland and internationally.
Rhonda, Peter, Greg and Mark join Maurice Mortell, Garry Connolly and Michelle Wallace on the DII Board. Michelle Wallace, who has served as interim CEO since September, will continue in her role on the Board and DII’s executive leadership team. DII founder Garry Connolly is stepping away from the board on September 30th, having stepped down as CEO earlier this year.
