“I am an Executive Council Member with Host in Ireland for over 3 years now. They say in life you get out relative to what you put in, I must be putting a lot into Host In Ireland because I get a fantastic amount of value and enjoyment from it.
Host in Ireland is set up to increase the awareness and benefits of hosting data centres in Ireland and supporting Irish companies working in the data centre sector abroad. For me, it’s about communicating and collaboration for the betterment of the industry with people in the same sector but without this platform you may never meet. From supporting the true benefits of our sector, attracting people into the sector, sector job advertisements, industry events, market reports, aiding social causes, podcasts and bar stool chats with industry characters, Host in Ireland has it all.
Garry Connolly is the president of Host in Ireland and he has fantastic energy. Garry has taken the time to support Ethos Engineering in a lot of the work we are doing to enable our innovation culture and our digital transformation journey. From his taking part in our innovation awards, presenting the developments and opportunities of the industrial revolution 4.0 across our European engineering network to getting us on panel discussions and branding opportunities at digital events around the world.
